Terms of use

Effective 29 October 2026 · Applies to jumpfold.com and the Jumpfold beta program

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of jumpfold.com and your participation in the Jumpfold beta program. By using the site or requesting a beta seat you agree to them. The privacy policy and the data deletion policy form part of these terms. If you accept a beta seat you may be asked to agree to a separate beta agreement that covers the pre-release software itself; where the two differ, the beta agreement controls for the software.

2. Using the website

You may use this website to learn about Jumpfold and to request a beta seat. You must provide accurate information in the form and keep it up to date. You must not submit requests on behalf of someone else without their permission, or submit automated or bulk requests.

3. The beta program

  • Requesting a seat does not guarantee one. We choose participants by role, platform and the capacity of the program, and we may close or pause the program at any time.
  • Beta software is pre-release. Features may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may be removed. Descriptions on this website describe intended behavior and are not promises that a feature or platform is available.
  • You should not rely on beta software as your only copy of any document. Keep your existing backups and working practices in place for the duration of the program.
  • We may ask for feedback, usage information and bug reports, and we may contact you about your participation. We will not use beta communications for marketing of other products.
  • There is no fee for the beta program and no obligation on you to continue; see section 10.

4. Professional responsibilities

Jumpfold is built for accountants, attorneys and other regulated professionals, and we take the confidentiality obligations of those professions seriously. Nevertheless, you remain responsible for deciding whether any tool, including Jumpfold, is appropriate for a given client matter under the rules that apply to you, including rules of professional conduct, client engagement terms, court orders and data protection law. Jumpfold does not provide legal, accounting or tax advice, and nothing on this site is advice of that kind.

5. Feedback

If you send us suggestions, bug reports or other feedback, you give us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to improve Jumpfold, without any obligation to you. We will not identify you publicly as the source of feedback without your permission. You do not have to give feedback to take part in the beta.

6. Intellectual property

The Jumpfold name, logo, website content and software are owned by Jumpfold or its licensors and are protected by trademark and copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or create derivative works from them except as the law expressly allows or as a beta agreement permits. The Inter and Space Grotesk typefaces used on this site are distributed under the SIL Open Font License and remain the property of their authors.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the site or the beta program to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission, or interfere with their operation;
  • send spam, malware or misleading material;
  • impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your role or affiliation.

If you believe you have found a security problem, please tell us at info@jumpfold.com. We will respond and will not pursue good-faith researchers who respect this policy.

8. No warranty

The website and the beta program are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Pre-release software may lose or corrupt data; the safeguards described on this site are design goals that are tested before release and not guarantees during a beta.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jumpfold will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from the website or the beta program, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the website or the beta program will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Ending participation

You can leave the beta program at any time by writing to info@jumpfold.com. We can end or suspend your participation if you break these terms, if the program ends, or for any other reasonable cause, and we will tell you if we do. Sections 5 to 9 and 11 continue to apply after participation ends.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jumpfold's operating entity is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections you have under the mandatory law of the place where you live.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for changes that affect beta participants, tell them by email before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
